What a wonderful world we live in … the beauty that surrounds us throughout the changing seasons of the year, the colors are completely breathtaking … through acrylic fluid art and the lens of a camera, I can express my love for the world.  Whether to capture beauty with a camera lens or acrylic paint on a canvas, the beauty and visions are endless.  All things are possible, you only have to believe.  Strive to be the bright spot in someone’s day!

Words that come to mind when I view the world of nature around us leave me exhilarated and breathless.  I see an endless color palette of softness of leaves and petals, gentle movement of life as well as the intricate details of the clouds, movement of water and the etching left on the sandy beach after it rains.  It inspires me so.

Self-taught, I started with fluid art in April of 2020, as it found an inner peace playing with paints, the rich, luscious colors, and textures they created.  I was both impressed and inspired when I first saw fluid art on display at the downtown Huntsville library, that day it captured me, and shortly after, Heartland Moon Inspired became a reality. My husband, family and friends provide magnificent encouragement and support as I continue on this journey.

Since then, I have participated in local juried art festivals, volunteered in the senior community, and been honored with a couple of my paintings to represent a local band’s CD cover, released in May of 2022.
